What Happens in an Eye Exam?
Our examinations are not just about checking up on your vision – we look at your eye health as a whole.
During the examination, we will carry out a series of tests using the best technology available while gathering information about any problems you may be experiencing with your vision, medications you might be on and any family history of eye conditions.
We also offer specialised testing for specific eye conditions, which our optometrist will recommend when appropriate.
Enhanced Eyecare With OCT
Part of our commitment to offering the best possible eye care is using the most up-to-date technology to ensure our testing is thorough and our products are high quality.
For example, we are proud to offer Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), a technology that allows us to create a digital image of the different layers of the eye, which can then be more effectively examined.
OCT scans are useful in detecting potentially sight-threatening abnormalities such as glaucoma but mostly they allow us to check up on the health of your eyes, which allows our optometrist to make more detailed and accurate recommendations.

We ensure that all aspects of our service are comfortable and simple for children, from eye tests to picking out a new pair of glasses.
If your child has myopia (short-sightedness), we can prescribe Essilor Stellest lenses for their glasses, which can slow the progression of myopia by an average of 67%, compared to single vision lenses, when worn 12 hours a day.
